**The details of this story are disturbing**

An Upstate man is accused of screwing his dog to the bathroom wall with a power drill.

An arrest warrant says Tyler Austin Jerdo is charged with ill-treatment of animals, resisting arrest and escape.

The warrant said Jerdo screwed his dog to the wall with a power drill through the paws using two three-inch screws.

It said it happened at a home on Whitmire Highway.

An incident report said when deputies arrived at the home there were several items, including a bird bath and air conditioning unit blocking the bathroom door.

The report said deputies were able to remove the dog from the door frame but it was "tired and limp."

WYFF News 4 is working to get information on the condition of the dog.

Another warrant said Jerdo actively resisted arrest and fought with officers. The report said Jerdo was stunned twice with a Taser while deputies were trying to put him in handcuffs.

A third warrant said he did escape through the back of the patrol car.

After the escape, the incident report said Jerdo headbutted a deputy. Jerdo was eventually booked into the Union County Detention Center.

The person who alerted deputies to the dog being harmed said Jerdo was under the influence of "something strong."

The report mentioned a charge of first-offense possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
